The
founders were started the society in 1938 with an
idea of improving the educational standard of the
community. The founders themselves understood that
the main reason for the community become substandard
compared to other communities due to lack of education.
At that time education was very poor and financially
also was in poor condition. It was a common practice
among Muslim Community, early marriage both men and
women and because of that usually the people will
not get enough time to get more education. That is
why the founders and the successors of the society
giving more priority to education and other social
activities.
Under the strong leadership of Haji M. Kochunnimooppan,
Amittath, T.M. Ahammed Haji, Thelappallil and T.M.
Kutty Moosa Haji, Thelappallil developed this society
much better way and started a Madarsa in 1948 near
by the Mosque for giving religious inspiration to
the community.
The society started a Lower Primary School in 1956
and an Upper Primary School in 1962, Orphanage in
1958. The society also started an Arabic College in
1986 and for giving better English education to the
community in 1996 an English Medium School was started
at Vaduthala. An old Masjith also exist under the
control of the society. As a matter of recognition
from the government to the society the post and Telegraph
Department started a Post Office (1956) in the name
of Nadvath Nager (Post). PIN Code No. 688559
The society opened an orphanage with an intention
to support the parents of poor village Muslim families
in this area. There are more than eighty students
staying and enjoying all the benefits of the society
like food, shelter, uniform, quality education, cultural
activities, sports and games etc. The society is very
much particular about the character molding of each
and every students, so that they want to become good
citizens of India. The society has received registration
from Board of Control for orphanage and other charitable
home, Government of Kerala vide registration number
118 dated 29.05.2000.
